Final
Paper Submission
Each
accepted paper has been assigned to a corresponding Chairman. A short
loop revision process, to be handled completely by email, has been set
up to verify and improve the technical quality of the accepted papers
prior to publication of the Proceedings in a special issue of Microelectronic
Engineering devoted to the Conference. Authors can find their corresponding
Chairman here.
The publication process has been organized as specified below.

Authors of accepted papers MUST submit by email the final version
of their manuscript MANDATORILY in PDF format to the corresponding
Chairman. The assigned Chairman and his email address can be found in
the attached Chairmen - Paper ID correspondence list.

The Chairmen notify suggestions and comments to the authors.
May

Deadline
for the submission of Oral presentations (see further below)
June
1
Authors
of accepted papers MUST submit by email the revised version of
their manuscript MANDATORILY in PDF format to the corresponding
Chairman.
June
8
The Chairmen email acceptance of the papers to the authors and to the
INFOS 2001 organizing Committee (infos2001@uniud.it). The Authors
send the final (revised) version of the papers and of the accompanying
documentation listed below to the INFOS organizing committee.

15
The final (revised) version of the papers and of the accompanying documentation
listed below MUST BE RECEIVED by the INFOS Organizing Committee.
1) two copies of
good quality printouts of the final paper;
2) good quality
original figures printed on separate sheets;
3) one 3.5" diskette(s)
containing an electronic version of the final paper complying with
the paper preparation instructions, suitable for editing and typesetting
by the publisher, IDENTICAL to the printed version, and the electronic
version of all figures. Both double density (DD) and high density (HD)
diskettes are acceptable. Essential is that paper ID, the disk and
file format, the name and version of the word-processing program on
which the text was prepared is clearly indicated on the diskette label
and in the final Paper Submission Form (see Typesetting Instructions below);
4) one copy of the
final Paper Submission Form (see Typesetting Instructions below) filled in all its parts.

It is IMPERATIVE
that Authors of accepted papers comply with final deadline of June 15,
2001. Publication in the Special issue of Microelectronic Engineering
will not be guaranteed to those authors that will not meet the deadline.
Please make explicit
reference to the paper ID in all correspondence.
Typesetting
Instructions
The instructions for the paper submission and a summary of the typesetting
requirements have been enclosed in the letter of acceptance, and can
also be found here.
Please, follow the instructions carefully, and comply with all specified
deadlines.
A more detailed
version of the typesetting instructions has been provided by the Publisher,
and can be found here.
The checklist to verify the fulfillment of the Publisher requirements

For those Authors
who are planning to use the LaTeX Word Processor, the LaTeX style files
can be found here
(elsart files). Please, prior to compose your paper in LaTex Format, read carefully
the LaTex Typesetting Instruction File that will help you in the process.

Oral
Presentations
Although transparencies
and slides will also be accepted, the submission of electronic-form
presentations is strongly reccomended to guarantee high-quality
Oral Sessions.
A PowerPoint (.ppt) version of the oral presentation must be sent to
infos2001@uniud.it
by May
20, 2001.
The filename must be the paper ID that has been assigned to each
Authors.
